About Us

Our Story

Retrieveo was founded in 2014 with a simple belief: everyone deserves access to well-made belts that combine quality craftsmanship with timeless design. What started as a small workshop dedicated to leather goods has grown into a trusted name for distinctive belts across all styles. We noticed a gap in the market—beautiful, durable belts were either prohibitively expensive or lacking in genuine quality. Mass-produced options dominated, while truly handcrafted pieces remained out of reach for most. We set out to change that. Over the past decade, we've built relationships with skilled artisans and established manufacturers who share our commitment to quality. Every belt we offer reflects careful material selection, attention to construction details, and designs that transcend fleeting trends. From full-grain leather dress belts to vibrant embroidered ribbon styles, each piece in our collection serves a purpose and tells a story. We don't chase fast fashion—we create accessories meant to be worn, appreciated, and kept for years.

Our Craftsmanship

Quality begins with materials. We source full-grain leather that develops rich patina over time, select grosgrain ribbons for their durability and vibrant color retention, and choose hardware that won't tarnish or break under daily wear. Our leather belts are constructed using traditional techniques—edge finishing, hand-stitching where it matters, and proper leather treatment that ensures longevity. We don't cut corners with bonded leather or plastic buckles disguised as metal. For our embroidered and ribbon collections, we work with weavers who understand that beauty and durability aren't mutually exclusive. These belts withstand summers at the shore, countless wash cycles, and years of regular wear while maintaining their appearance. Webbing belts receive equal attention. We specify tight weaves, reinforced stitching at stress points, and proper finishing to prevent fraying. Even our most casual offerings meet standards we'd be proud to wear ourselves. This commitment to craft means our belts cost more than mass-market alternatives, but less than luxury boutiques. We believe this represents fair value—quality that justifies the price without inflated markups.
